Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of public rights-of-way, including street sweeping, litter removal, and graffiti abatement.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, and traffic signs.
- Operate light equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Support traffic control operations, including flagging and directing vehicles during construction or maintenance activities.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed for various projects.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; applicants with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Capability to lift, carry, and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
