Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, and repairing public roads and sidewalks.
- Operate heavy machinery such as dump trucks, graders, loaders, and backhoes under supervision.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer lines.
- Perform snow and ice removal duties during inclement weather events.
- Set up and maintain traffic control zones and safety barriers.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
