Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities using hand/power tools
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters) safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines and resource allocation
- Complete digital work logs and documentation remotely via our secure portal
- Participate in emergency response operations for weather-related infrastructure issues
- Maintain equipment inventory and submit remote supply requisitions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, maintenance, or related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical examination
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in using digital tools for remote reporting (e.g., mobile apps, cloud platforms)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
