Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor duties including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining public parks, streets, and right-of-ways.
  • Operate and maintain light to heavy-duty equipment such as dump trucks, jackhammers, rollers, and concrete saws under supervision.
  • Assist in traffic control, flagging, and road maintenance projects during peak seasons.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and debris from trucks using manual handling or equipment.
  • Install and repair basic infrastructure components such as guardrails, signs, and concrete curbing.
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the public.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and engineers regarding project status and site conditions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid Colorado Class C Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
