Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining public parks, streets, and right-of-ways.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy-duty equipment such as dump trucks, jackhammers, rollers, and concrete saws under supervision.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging, and road maintenance projects during peak seasons.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and debris from trucks using manual handling or equipment.
- Install and repair basic infrastructure components such as guardrails, signs, and concrete curbing.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the public.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and engineers regarding project status and site conditions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Colorado Class C Driverβs License with a good driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
