Responsibilities
- Perform heavy and light construction tasks including excavation, asphalt paving, and concrete placement.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment such as rollers, compactors, and jackhammers.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging, and setting up work zones to ensure safety.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools on job sites.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with foremen and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver’s License.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations.
- Previous experience in public works or construction is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
