Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, grading, and lifting heavy materials.
- Maintain and clean streets, sidewalks, alleys, and public rights-of-way.
- Clear snow and ice from public roads and walkways during winter months.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy-duty construction equipment and tools.
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of storm drains and sewer systems.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices to ensure worker and public safety.
- Follow all safety regulations and site-specific safety plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License (clean driving record preferred).
- Physical ability to perform strenuous labor, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and rotating shifts.
- Previous experience in public works, landscaping, or general construction is a plus.
