Responsibilities
- Operate heavy and light machinery, including backhoes, graders, and jackhammers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, grading soil, and hauling materials.
- Assist in road maintenance, repair, and resurfacing projects.
- Maintain public parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Clear snow and ice from roads and parking lots during winter months.
- Set up and maintain traffic control signage and barriers.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and local codes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer medical examination and drug screen.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience with construction equipment or landscaping is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
