Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties such as digging, loading, and unloading construction materials.
- Assist with road maintenance tasks including pothole repair, crack sealing, and drainage cleaning.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and light machinery (e.g., tampers, jackhammers) safely.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Flag traffic and direct vehicles as needed during active construction projects.
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
