Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily maintenance, repair, and reconstruction of city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery, including dump trucks, backhoes, graders, and asphalt pavers.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather to ensure public safety.
- Inspect public infrastructure, including traffic signs and signals, to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency work orders and citizen service requests regarding city infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public works, construction, or general maintenance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
