Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and improve streets, sidewalks, alleys, and drainage systems.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including graders, rollers, and loaders.
- Perform snow removal and ice control operations during winter weather events.
- Inspect infrastructure for safety hazards and report deficiencies to supervisors.
- Perform basic landscaping and vegetation control along public rights-of-way.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and city standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Arizona Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
