Your Responsibilities:
We are looking for candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and public spaces.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and service calls in a timely manner.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in snow removal, drainage cleaning, and flood control measures during inclement weather.
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and OSHA regulations while on duty.
- Document work orders and maintain accurate records of completed tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and safety manuals.
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety.
