Responsibilities
- Manage $5M+ county infrastructure projects including road repairs and facility upgrades
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reporting
- Resolve technical challenges and mitigate project risks
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public works project management
- PMP certification or equivalent professional credential
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Expert knowledge of Denver County procurement procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license
