Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of municipal infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct inspections of public works projects and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with city regulations and safety protocols
- Respond to emergency public works situations as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
