Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Optimize quantum error correction techniques for commercial scalability
- Present findings at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum cryptography or error correction
- Proficiency in quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy principles
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
