Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Conduct experimental quantum computing tests using superconducting qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum coherence times
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and contribute to quantum computing standards
- Lead cross-functional projects with hardware and software engineering teams
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (Qiskit, Cirq, or Rigetti)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
