Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for federal stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, and agency-specific regulations)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings in federal audit-ready reports
- Implement data quality checks and validation protocols for federal datasets
- Present findings to federal leadership through concise executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal or government data analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and data manipulation tools (Python/R)
- Experience with federal data compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong expertise in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of federal procurement processes and data governance standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance (or eligibility)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
