Responsibilities
- Collect residential/commercial waste and recyclables using automated trucks
- Operate sanitation equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform route optimization and service quality checks
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Enforce waste disposal regulations with professionalism
- Collaborate during emergency weather response operations
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year waste management or heavy equipment experience
- Clean background check and driving record
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays during peak seasons
