Responsibilities
- Conduct screening of passengers, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray systems.
- Identify and resolve prohibited items and security threats.
- Enforce TSA security regulations and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Interact professionally with the traveling public, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Respond quickly and effectively to security breaches or emergency situations.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness and alertness during operational shifts.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a drug screen and medical exam.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
