Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, baggage, and cargo for dangerous items using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
- Enforce TSA security regulations, screening procedures, and directives.
- Assist travelers with questions and provide excellent customer service during the screening process.
- Identify and report security breaches, anomalies, or prohibited items immediately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and physical readiness during long shifts.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient airport operations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- No felony convictions or recent illegal drug use.
