Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and X-ray systems.
- Perform physical searches, including pat-downs and bag inspections, to detect prohibited items.
- Monitor security checkpoints and observe activities to identify potential security threats.
- Interact professionally with travelers, including those with special needs, to ensure a courteous experience.
- Enforce security protocols and regulations consistently and impartially.
- Maintain a high level of alertness and physical readiness throughout your shift.
- Document screening results and report any anomalies to security supervisors.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent vision (with or without corrective lenses).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not always required).
