Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive land use plans and zoning ordinances
- Lead community engagement initiatives for major infrastructure projects
- Analyze development proposals for compliance with county regulations
- Prepare environmental impact assessments and sustainability reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on long-term strategic planning
- Manage GIS mapping and spatial analysis for planning projects

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in municipal/county planning
- Valid North Carolina AICP certification required
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and planning software
- Strong analytical and statistical modeling abilities
- Excellent public speaking and stakeholder communication skills
