Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive urban plans and zoning regulations aligned with long-term city vision

- Prepare environmental impact assessments and compliance reports
- Collaborate with engineering and transportation departments on infrastructure projects
- Manage grant applications and funding opportunities for development programs
- Oversee site plan reviews and development permit processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in municipal planning or government sector
- Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana zoning laws and federal regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience leading community outreach initiatives
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- LEED AP or AICP certification preferred
