Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive planning initiatives for major redevelopment zones
- Manage zoning code amendments and ordinance updates
- Coordinate public outreach meetings for community engagement
- Analyze demographic and economic data for policy recommendations
- Prepare environmental impact assessments and land use studies
- Collaborate with engineering and transportation departments
- Oversee subdivision plats and development plan reviews
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
- 5+ years of municipal planning experience
- Texas AICP certification required
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and ArcGIS Pro
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Experience with zoning ordinance development
- Knowledge of Fort Worth's growth initiatives preferred
