Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat detection and incident response for federal systems
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity protocols for classified networks
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with federal agencies on joint security initiatives
- Maintain compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security standards
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Provide real-time threat intelligence to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity operations
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- US citizenship required
