Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks.
- Manage and monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to incidents.
- Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure IT architectures.
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
- Support incident response efforts and lead post-incident reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within a federal contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
