Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Implement and maintain security controls aligned with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements.
- Manage firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint security agents.
- Prepare and present security posture reports to senior leadership and federal auditors.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with Polygraph (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government or defense contracting environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and Linux/Windows administration.
- Familiarity with DOD Information Security Certification Program (DISA) standards.
