Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal systems.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP security standards.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure network infrastructure and data assets.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state government IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
