Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for government clients.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data against cyber threats.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or government contracting.
- Familiarity with government security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
