Responsibilities
- Lead Data Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive data analysis strategies to support federal agency objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to interpret complex data sets and identify key trends.
- Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, quality, and security in compliance with federal standards and OMB guidelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and recommend automation or optimization strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a large-scale enterprise.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Strong experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Visualization: Demonstrated expertise in creating data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (or equivalent federal security clearance).
