Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and forecasting to support long-term strategic planning and budget allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement data governance standards.
- Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from various database systems.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical staff in a clear, concise manner.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server) is required.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced government environment.
