Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic government initiatives.
- Design and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and governance standards.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support policy development and program evaluation.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, actionable format.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal data privacy regulations.
- Mentor junior analysts and participate in code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field within the public sector or a similar industry.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
