Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced predictive models for threat detection and risk assessment
- Analyze massive datasets using Python, R, and SQL to uncover actionable intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop data-driven policy recommendations
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from data collection to deployment
- Create compelling visualizations and reports for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data science experience with federal or large-scale data
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms (random forests, neural networks, NLP)
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), SQL, and data visualization tools
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Demonstrated experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, AWS)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to ethical data usage
