Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic decision-making for government agencies
- Design and implement robust data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Conduct statistical modeling and predictive analytics to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation processes and quality assurance protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and congressional committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or DoD contractor background
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for large-scale data manipulation
- Advanced knowledge of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FERPA, Privacy Act)
- Certification in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS technologies for federal mapping projects
- Proven ability to translate technical findings into executive-level recommendations
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
