Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions for public health challenges
- Present findings to senior leadership through comprehensive data narratives and reports
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industry
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA)
