Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies critical to national security
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for federal stakeholders
- Ensure all data processing adheres to federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 508 compliance)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design data collection methodologies aligned with federal standards
- Present complex analytical findings to senior federal leadership through concise executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols and documentation
- Lead data migration projects between secure federal systems while maintaining security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal data analysis or government contracting roles
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis methods
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Proven experience with federal data compliance standards (FISMA, NIST frameworks)
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and big data technologies
