Responsibilities
- Lead IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex federal network systems and hardware.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Enforce strict security protocols and compliance standards (NIST, FISMA) to protect sensitive government data.
- Project Leadership: Spearhead large-scale IT modernization projects, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve critical system failures, minimizing downtime for federal operations.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external IT vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Compliance & Audits: Conduct regular system audits and documentation reviews to ensure adherence to federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity within a federal or government environment.
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.
- Certifications: Possession of CISSP, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, SQL, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
