Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security protocols, and ITIL best practices.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal staff and contractors.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and software solutions.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and emergency response drills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT or government contracting environments.
- Active Public Trust or Secret clearance is required.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewall management, and cybersecurity principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder reporting.
