Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot complex federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and agency-specific security protocols.
- Perform system security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and change management procedures.
- Collaborate with program managers to align IT strategies with agency mission objectives.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT support or government contracting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Cisco networking, and AWS/Azure cloud services.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills for briefing senior leadership.
