Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal information systems and networks in compliance with NIST and FAR regulations.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and support staff on federal projects.
- Collaborate directly with government stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality across all federal systems.
- Manage system performance, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and performing system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and compliance records.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret government security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
