Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex federal IT systems and infrastructure in accordance with FISMA requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement security controls to protect sensitive data.
- Lead technical teams in the planning and execution of software deployments and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and briefings to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT systems engineering or a related role.
- Certification such as CISSP, Security+, or PMP is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of DoD or Federal IT security policies and compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
