Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Analysis: Lead the analysis, design, and development of complex information systems and software solutions to address mission-critical business problems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical requirements, gathering and documenting needs from diverse stakeholders across the agency.
- Project Management: Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to federal security standards, FISMA compliance, and agency-specific cybersecurity protocols.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior analysts and engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices for coding and system integration.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement optimization strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT project management within a large-scale organization.
- Certifications: Active Top Secret or Public Trust clearance required; relevant certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or C#), database management (SQL, Oracle), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking with a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges efficiently.
