Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex government IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Conduct comprehensive system analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and propose technical solutions.
- Manage and secure sensitive citizen data in compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FISMA).
- Provide advanced technical support and training to city department staff and end-users.
- Oversee software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and document technical policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT analysis, systems administration, or a similar government/enterprise role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance process.
