Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure systems for Federal and State contracts.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for network operations and hardware/software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
- Train junior staff and mentor team members on best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Experience working with Federal or State government contracts is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNP are required.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid California driver’s license and willingness to travel to various city locations.
