Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex IT solutions for state government agencies.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Security Compliance: Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive citizen data and government infrastructure.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Project Governance: Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management and system architecture within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Certifications: PMP, CISSP, or ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of federal and state compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
