Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of county-wide network infrastructure and server environments.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with state and federal data protection standards.
- Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and provide strategic technical guidance.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee software licensing and procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems analysis, network administration, or a related technical role.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or Microsoft Azure Administrator are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and government procurement regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
