Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure solutions including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of high-priority technical issues to ensure system uptime and data integrity.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect state data and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline government processes.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for optimization.
- Mentor junior IT staff and provide technical guidance on best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is highly preferred.
- Valid CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
