Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure and IT systems.
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders and city departments.
- Lead major IT projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets and timelines.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to procure and integrate new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure or systems analysis within the public or private sector.
- Deep understanding of government IT standards, FISMA compliance, and network security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
