Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex IT systems and networks for federal government clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with rigorous federal security standards, IT regulations (FedRAMP, NIST), and agency-specific policies.
- Provide expert-level technical troubleshooting, system architecture guidance, and operational support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital modernization and software lifecycle management.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and system hardening exercises.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS/Azure) and on-premise infrastructure performance.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in federal IT environments or professional services consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, virtualization technologies (VMware), and containerization.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation.
