As part of the U.S. General Services Administration, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Manage Enterprise Systems: Oversee the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex federal IT systems and networks.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of IT modernization initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party IT service providers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical guidance and support to agency stakeholders and end-users.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in federal IT environments or similar large-scale enterprise settings.
- Certifications: Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain) and ITIL Foundation or higher.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership.
