Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security regulations, FISMA, and NIST standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for government personnel and stakeholders.
- Oversee system patching, updates, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable IT solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or administration within the federal government or defense contracting.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
